These terms are the agreement between you and Goodisoft Technologies for using Pharmdas. That includes this website, the web app at app.pharmdas.com and the Pharmdas offline app. By creating an account or using Pharmdas, you agree to them.
If you sign up for a pharmacy or business, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf, and "you" includes that business.
Our Privacy Policy also applies, and explains how we handle information.
1.What Pharmdas is (and isn't)
Pharmdas is software that helps pharmacies manage inventory, sales, expiry dates, staff, customers, purchasing, branches and reports. It works online, and through the offline app, it also works when the internet is down.
Pharmdas is a record-keeping and management tool. It does not give medical, pharmaceutical or legal advice, and it does not replace the professional judgement of your pharmacists. Decisions about dispensing, dosage, drug interactions and patient care are yours.
Alerts such as low-stock and expiry warnings depend on the information entered into the system. They are there to help you, but they are not a guarantee. Please keep checking your stock physically as well.
2.Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract.
- Give us accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including what your staff do with the logins you give them.
- Keep passwords private. Give each staff member their own login, and remove their access as soon as they leave. Shared logins make the activity log useless.
- If you think someone has got into your account, tell us straight away at support@pharmdas.com.
3.Plans and payment
- Some plans or features need a paid subscription. We will show you the price and what is included before you pay, or agree it with you in writing.
- Unless we agree otherwise, fees are paid in advance for each billing period.
- If you are on a free trial, we will let you know before it ends and explain what happens next.
- If a payment is late, we will remind you. If it stays unpaid, we may limit or pause your access until it is settled. We will not delete your data because of a late payment without warning you first.
- If we change our prices, we will give you at least 30 days' notice. The new price applies from your next billing period.
- Except where the law says otherwise, we do not refund fees for part of a billing period.
4.Your data
- You own your data. The products, sales, customer and patient records you put into Pharmdas belong to your pharmacy, not to us.
- You allow us to store, process, back up and display that data, but only as far as we need to in order to provide Pharmdas to you. Our Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.
- You are responsible for having the right to collect the information you record, including patient information. You are also responsible for following the rules that apply to your pharmacy, such as those of the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria and the Nigeria Data Protection Act.
- You can ask us for a copy of your data at any time, including before you close your account.
- We back up the system regularly. Even so, we recommend that you keep your own copies of records that matter most to your business.
5.The offline app
- Download the offline app only from pharmdas.com. We cannot support copies from anywhere else.
- While you are offline, your work is saved on the device until it syncs. If the device is lost, damaged or reset before it syncs, that unsynced work may be lost. Connect to the internet regularly so your data stays backed up.
- If the same record is changed in two places while offline, Pharmdas will try to combine the changes when it syncs. After a long period offline, please check your important records.
- Keep the app updated. Very old versions may stop syncing.
6.What you must not do
When using Pharmdas, you must not:
- Use it for anything illegal, including selling fake, unregistered or banned medicines
- Record false information to mislead regulators, auditors, partners or customers
- Try to access another pharmacy's data, or parts of our systems you are not allowed into
- Copy, resell or reverse-engineer Pharmdas, or use it to build a competing product
- Upload viruses or do anything meant to slow down or break the service
7.Availability and support
We work hard to keep Pharmdas running, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. When we need to do maintenance, we try to do it at quiet times, and we give notice of planned downtime where we can. The offline app is there so you can keep selling during an outage.
You can reach our support team by phone or email. We will respond as quickly as we reasonably can.
8.Changes to Pharmdas
We keep improving Pharmdas, so features will change over time. If we plan to remove a feature that many pharmacies rely on, we will give reasonable notice first.
9.Closing your account
- You can stop using Pharmdas at any time. To close your account, contact us. Please ask for a copy of your data first if you need it.
- We may suspend or close an account if its owner seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, does not pay, or if the law requires us to. Where it is reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
- Once an account is closed, access stops and your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
10.Our software and brand
The Pharmdas software, name, logo and design belong to Goodisoft Technologies. Your subscription lets you use Pharmdas; it does not transfer any ownership to you. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them to improve Pharmdas without owing you anything for them.
11.Limits of our responsibility
We provide Pharmdas "as is". We do our best to make it reliable and useful, but we cannot promise it will be free of errors or suit every pharmacy's needs.
We are not responsible for losses caused by:
- Wrong or incomplete information entered by you or your staff
- The actions of your staff
- Dispensing or clinical decisions
- Internet, power or device failures that are outside our control
- Offline work lost because a device was lost, damaged or reset before it synced
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Pharmdas in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
If someone brings a claim against us because you broke these terms or the law, for example by recording patient information without the right to do so, you agree to cover the costs that result.
12.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the date at the top of this page shows the latest version. If we make an important change, we will tell account holders by email or inside the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using Pharmdas after that, you accept the new terms. If you do not agree with them, you can close your account.
13.Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If you have a problem with Pharmdas, please talk to us first. We will try in good faith to sort it out within 30 days. If we cannot, either of us may take the matter to a court with the right jurisdiction in Nigeria.
